Health is not just about preventing disease and living a longer and more vital life. Health is one of the gateways to our personal freedom. Without optimum health, we cannot experience love, joy and prosperity to its fullest. Good health gives us that extra freedom and energy to embrace all that life has to offer.
Wellness comprises physical, mental and emotional aspects of health and it is not about being the thinnest, fittest and happiest person on the block. It is more about being the best you that you can be, given your strengths and your limitations. Getting well requires adjusting your lifestyle, which requires commitment and change.
